What are the different types of warranty?

There are several types of warranty:

  • Standard Warranty: This is the warranty carried by most items. The item needs to be returned to us in order to be sent to the supplier / distributor / repair center for assessment.
  • Fetch / Return / Repair Warranty: This is most common on laptops, but can appear on some other items. The item will be collected from you by the repair agent, assessed and repaired if necessary, and then returned to you. This warranty needs to be booked with the repair agent (the manufacturer will normally make arrangements, but we can try to assist).
  • On-Site Warranty: The repair agent will send a technician to your premises to do the repair onsite. There is no need to send the item anywhere. This warranty needs to be booked with the repair agent (the manufacturer will normally make arrangements, but we can try to assist).
  • Next Business Day / NBD Warranty: This is the creme de la creme of warranties, and normally reserved for business / enterprise class laptops and desktops. It is similar to the On-Site Warranty, but the time frame is within the next business day (this is the next day of the week excluding weekends and public holidays).

Unless otherwise stated on the product's Manufacturer and Warranty tab, all products come with a standard warranty.
